About

I love working with children. I also enjoy learning and growing.  My life will be enriched as I experience all that teaching has to offer on a daily basis.  It will afford me the opportunity to become a part of impacting the lives of children firsthand.  I will have an opportunity to experience the differences in personalities, lifestyles, traditions, and backgrounds of countless students on a daily basis.

I believe people are more of an asset, when they are well rounded and exposed to life from different perspectives.  We have a way of being bias and particle to others point of views, when we fail to expose ourselves to the world at large.  Life is a lot easier when we respect each other’s differences and embrace the benefits we stand to gain from them.

I have been employed since I was fourteen years old.  I love working.  I have worked in a number of fields, but I enjoy teaching the most.  Students have a way of making a job feel like something other than work.  The energy and enthusiasm they bring to the classroom is contagious.  There is no greater feeling of accomplishment than reaching a student.  The teacher receives an instant reward just watching a student grasp a concept and then apply it.  I have experienced this with a number of students of various ethnicities.  They are all full of pride and a sense of accomplishment.

Children may have different background and beliefs, but they are all motivated by accomplishments.  They thrive from comprehending a concept and applying it in their daily lives.  Children need this to excel inside and outside the classroom.  They need to know that they are capable of achieving greatness.  I have experienced this over and over again with students.  They just need proper instructions, tools and a desire to succeed in this world. I believe that every child has the capacity to achieve greatness and be productive citizens in any society.  We need to arm them with an arsenal of tools and confidence that will propel them into success.  Working with today’s students daily will yield the same great rewards, if not more, than those I have received in the past.
